VFW "Welcome Home Veterans" Event - Saturday March 5 from noon to 5pm
VFW Post 8230 on Pan American, 1 mile north of US41 - This event will be family friendly and will include music, food vendors, silent auction and games for all ages.  We will have a booth with information about receiving services and volunteering.

2022 - April 26 noon - Apr 27 Noon - The Giving Challenge - Sponsored by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County - for 24 hours all gifts given through their website with be matched by The Patterson Foundation.  Stay tuned for more information

Saturday, February 5 - 10:00 am to noon - North Port Newcomer Day
at the George Mullen Activity Center (1602 Kramer Way). 

Offered three times a year, North Port Newcomer Day is an expo-like event that features information tables run by local community organizations, government agencies, and local businesses. The event will be held at the George Mullen Activity Center. If you know someone new to the city, or anyone who might be interested in learning more about North Port, please invite them to come and learn about serving or getting help.

Due to COVID-19, attendees will be asked to practice good physical distancing and follow the flow of traffic in a single direction. Masks are strongly encouraged.

United Way of South Sarasota Community Walk The walk was cancelled as a response to COVID-19.  We hope to be able to help again next year.
